POEM 1: A MYSTERY
This is how it all starts when boy meets girl
Just like when Adam and Eve first came to this world
When the first time your eyes met mine
We both knew in our hearts that was a good sign
You seem to me to be pure in my eyes
But looks can de deceiving I realize
One thing that I know is that the eyes don’t lie
I can see what you want even though you play shy
I felt a strange vibe when we got closer
It made me weak to the knees even though I’m sober
It won’t be a crime to open up to me
So will you open up and stop being a mystery


POEM 2: A WOMAN
I love her eyes the way they sparkle
I love her hair the way it glares
I love her lips when they’re moist
And a figure no one can compare

I love the wild beast hidden behind her innocence
I love the strange vibes I can’t understand
I love the feeling she gives me when she touches
And all the things that make her different from a man

I love to stare deep into her dreamy eyes
I love the softness of her skin
I love her because there’s nothing else like her
And when I’m around her I don’t know where to begin

I love the beauty she possesses within
I love the way she cheers me up when I’m blue
I love her maybe more than myself
And she makes me melt like a candle this is true

I love the way her body feels next to mine
I love her not only for her looks but her brain
I love her because she’s very original
And if I don’t have her I will go insane

I love her because she’s all I ever wanted
I love all the things that make her what she is
I love the way she blushes when I speak
And if she isn’t one of God’s greatest creations then what is


POEM 3: CLAIM THIS WORLD
If a man hates me for claiming God’s name
That’s a man who denies God’s Spirit burn in the flames
He didn’t make one Son we all are one
The darkness is preventing you from becoming one
They took God’s name out of the schools
Now there are fights and murders because the devil is in the schools
It’s a pawn of darkness trying to take over the world
Stand up God’s sons and daughters and claim this world


POEM 4: LOVE
When the earth is brown and the sky is gray
Love will make it a brighter day
When our days have ended and we have decayed
Remember love is here to stay
From the lowest plains to the highest mountains I say
Love will mold you like clay
Trial and error with love will make your heart hard
But true love will soften it back up the next day


POEM 5: MORE THAN FRIENDS
How much is more
It’s something to really think about
You can think until your brain is sore
But the true answer won’t come from your mouth
People say they know what it is
But anybody can claim something
It’s something harder than a quiz
I know what I need and that’s your lovin
I might not know the true answer
Or maybe I can’t see thru my smoky lens
You and me have ta
Be more than friends


POEM 6: YOU ARE THE ONE
A diamond is hard
But your body is soft
You are my qween like a card
Like a switch I turn on when I’m off
Love is only a four letter word
That I wonder about
When you speak you will be heard
So don’t scream or shout
When I look into your eyes
It’s like looking at the sun
You are special I realize
And I know you are the one
